Our team believes very strongly in the power of art and want everyone to have the opportunity to take part in a painting party with out having to worry about paying a bill. Thank you!!
I have a small group of friends that get together every week for a crafts night. We either being what we want to work on or sometimes we all do a group paint. We share our knowledge and teach each other a craft that we know and someone else wants to learn. My mom started doing this back in the early seventies. They did it every Monday for at least 35 yrs. We just hit our 1 year mark with my group.
But yes, thank you , we have painted a few from your website.

Can’t wait to do with with my sister when I see her this weekend. We are going to do the Autumn Dandelions. This will be her first painting, so good to start with. She is in the middle of chemo, so this is something we can do without needing a lot of energy. I was wondering if there is a way to download the video to my computer. I am not sure of the internet connection at my sisters home. If not… I will figure something out.

    • Dustin says:

Thank you so much Vicky. How’d the weekend go? Did you get it to work? Sorry I got back a little late on my response. Please let us know how it went. If it failed, I can try to figure out a way to get a video you and your sister.

I am not sure how to get the videos onto the tv screen for everyone to see. My laptop is very small. Any Ideas?

    • lacy jones says:

If your TV has an HDMI input, then you can buy an HDMI cord and connect the laptop to the TV that way. You’ll have to scroll around your TV settings, sort of like switching from TV to dvd player.

I spend my winters in a 55+ park in Florida. I can’t wait to get my friends together to have a painting party.

  10. Kandy Avery says:

    Hello and Thank You.
Would it be possible to get something with dragonflies or and old barn door type if look.

    • Dustin says:

We do have some dragonfly paintings finished. They just need to be filmed! I’ll get them on our filming schedule soon!

      • Marsha Houpt says:

I hope you do dragonflies too! And just a quick clarification. You do charge $4.99 a month to belong to the group, but then once you belong to the group, you are saying all the videos are free? Am I understanding that right? I would like access to all the videos, but I need to pay once a month for that, correct?

  11. lacy jones says:

Hi! Thanks so much for the videos. My mom-in-law and I have found a common interest and we are really enjoying your videos. One problem we are having is determining what colors you’re using. We’ve discovered that not every red and blue mix to make purple and so on. Haha! Any further detail on the specific colors would be greatly appreciated. Thank you again.

  12. David MacAskill says:

How would you calculate how much to purchase in paint per participant? Is there an amount to charge each guest to cover the cost of supplies or do you ask each quest to bring their own supplies? I am thinking it would be easier for the host to purchase everything so that all guests have the same supplies and just charge a set amount to recoup the cost?

    • Dustin says:

It’s really difficult to say for sure, since each painting requires different amounts of colors. In our opinion, buy more than necessary so you’ll have plenty for the next couple of paintings as well! Doesn’t hurt to have friends chip in and you can all share.

I hosted my first Ladies Night Painting Party last night and it was a huge success. There will be more in my future. What a wonderful site. I thought the video instruction was really well done. I’ve been to the “classes” and this was potentially better in that you could stop/ pause/ rewind as necessary! Thanks for doing this .

What are the best beginner brushes? I am having a hard time figuring out what brushes would be best that aren’t too expensive. I see ones with camel hair, ones that are white material, black material, brown, etc… I know that some say acrylic for multiple colors but I don’t know which is best. Thank you for any help!
